On Tuesday 7th April 2009 the PGL of Dunbartonshire held its Annual Masters Dinner in Dumbarton. This year’s dinner took on a different format from usual to mark the 250th anniversary of the birth of Robert Burns. The PGM Bro. Although Saturday the 6th June started with a bleak looking morning The Brock Bowling Cup competitors were blessed with a glorious afternoon to play bowls at various greens throughout the Province. There was a very fitting turnout of bowlers to celebrate the Centenary of the competition. more.... |

Saturday 16th May 2009 proved to be a very fine day for fishing. This was shown to be the case when 18 anglers, representing 6 lodges in the Province, took to the banks of Lawfield Fishery in Kilmacolm for the PGL Annual Fishing Competition.more.... |

On the 25th Oct Lodge Clydebank 1234 held a charity night on behalf of two charities which are very close to the hearts of the brethren. The charities in question were the Glasgow University Cancer Research Department and the Premature Babies Unit at Glasgow Royal Infirmary. more.... |
