On Thursday 15th February the Provincial Grand Lodge attended Lodge Saint Patrick No 1309 to witness a special presentation of two 60 year diplomas. The recipients being Past Masters Robert Pitman and James A. Dunbar both of whom had been admitted to 1309 in January 1964.

Both Past Masters are still in office to this day and a credit to the Lodge and to the Craft in general. Brother Robert Pitman PM just last month had the Hon Provincial Grand Rank of Chaplain conferred upon him by PGM Irving and is currently the Lodge DoC. Brother James A. Dunbar PM who of course is a Past Provincial Grand Master is currently the Lodged Tyler. Brother James  M. Dunbar PM Secy read a wonderful, fitting tribute to both Brethren, JAD of course being his father. Included in the deputation was the PGM of Glasgow Brother Andrew Mushet and Hon Member of the Province Brother Alexander Galbraith PPGM of Renfrewshire West.

Our own IPPGM Brother Forrest was also in attendance along with several PGL Office bearers. Also on the evening a FC Degree was exemplified by a Deputation from Dumbarton Kilwinning Lodge No 18. An evening of Harmony followed the meeting.
