On Friday 5th January,2018 a deputation from the Provincial Grand Lodge of Dunbartonshire headed by Provincial Grand Master Bro James Forrest attended Lodge Clydebank 1234 when Distinguished Service Membership was conferred upon Past Master Bro Alan M Young .

Bro Young apart from long and distinguished service to the lodge also has served the Provincial Grand Lodge of Dunbartonshire with distinction and is a Past Provincial Senior Grand Warden and continues to serve on Committee. Following the presentation by the Master of the Lodge Bro James R McCardle an excellent Fellowcraft Degree was carried out by the lodge office bearers.
