On Friday, 21st October 2016 a large deputation from Lodge Mother Kilwinning No 0 headed by the Right Worshipful Master Bro Charles Hughes attended Lodge Clydebank No 1234 to confer the Fellowcraft Degree.

The Master of Lodge Clydebank, Bro James R McCardle having welcomed the deputation into the lodge thereafter received a deputation from the Provincial Grand Lodge of Dunbartonshire headed by the Provincial Grand Master Depute Bro James Forrest . The usual pleasantries having been exchanged Bro David Lyall Bennett of Lodge 1234 was introduced to the brethren after which Bro McCardle outlined the service given by him to Lodge Clydebank and indeed his association in later years with Lodge Mother Kilwinning. Bro Bennett was thereafter presented with a 50 year diploma and he in turn made suitable reply. A superb second degree was then carried out by the Mother Lodge which was greatly appreciated and commented upon by the assembled brethren.
