On Wednesday the 3rd of April the PGL attended Lodge Ellangowan No 716 to Dedicate a New Masonic Carpet for the Lodge. Accompanying the PGM Brother Irving and his deputation was the PGM and IPPGN of Kilwinning. After a warm welcome from the Master Brother William Lamont the work of the evening began.

PGM Irving was assisted greatly by both PG Chaplain's Bros Rev M E Johnstone and T R Smith. After a wonderful Ceremony the brethren enjoyed an hour of Harmony in the Middle Lounge area. Over 90 signed the tyle, included was a deputation of brethren from the Young Masons Group newly formed in Dunbartonshire. A truly wonderful Masonic occasion.
