A deputation from the Provincial Grand Lodge of Dunbartonshire headed by The Provincial Grand Master Brother David S. Irving attended Lodge Caledonian St John Royal Arch Campsie No 195. The work of the evening was the conferring of The Fellow Craft Degree by Lodge Greenock St John No 175 on one candidate. .

At the conclusion of the degree a Distinguished Service Diploma was awarded to Brother John R. McCormack, PM 195, PPGM. The Master Brother Gray made the presentation and The PGM Brother Irving added his congratulations, Brother McCormack thereafter made suitable remarks.
