On Saturday the 9th July a Service of Thanksgiving was held at The Old Aisle Cemetery, Kirkintilloch.

The stone that marks the final resting place of PPGM Morrison was refurbished at the request of Provincial Grand Lodge. Fifteen Brethren represented the Province also in attendance was Rev Dr Ruth Morrison, Minister of St Mary's Church, Kirkintilloch. After welcoming words by the PGM Brother Irving, worship was conducted by Provincial Grand Chaplain Brother Revd Mark E. Johnstone. Brother Stuart Leckenby Master of Lodge St John Kilwinning No 28 laid a wreath on behalf of the 21 Daughter Lodges. It was delightful that all of our seven Past Provincial Grand Masters were in attendance. Refreshments were served after the service at The Masonic Temple, regent Street Kirkintilloch.
